AutoCAD Multi-view Parts
Installation Instructions
NOTE: In Windows Explorer, you will need to have the option checked for "Show hidden files and folders" under Tools > Folder Options.
STEP 1: Open Windows Explorer and browse to the following location:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\ACD-MEP 2009\enu\Aecb Catalogs
STEP 2: For this example, (Titus Eggcrate Return Grilles) browse further to:
\US Imperial\MvParts\Mechanical\Air Terminals\Grilles\
STEP 3: Create a new folder and rename it to be "Titus"
STEP 4: Download the mvpart .zip file from the site
STEP 5: Extract the contents (.bmp, .xml, and .dwg files) of the .zip file to the Titus folder you created
STEP 6: Open AutoCAD and regenerate the mvparts catalog [command: "AECBCatalogRegen", "m"]
STEP 7: Insert the return grille [HVAC Tool Palette > Air Terminals > Grilles]
STEP 8: Select the Titus Eggcrate Return Grille and specify the Flow and size
