  • WaterCalc allows plumbing designers and engineers to quickly and accurately determine pipe size requirements for domestic water systems using the following codes:
  • 1994 Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC)
  • 2000 International Plumbing Code (IPC)
  • 2003 IPC
  • 2003 UPC
  • 2006 IPC
  • 2006 UPC
  • The Pipe Sizes are determined both by calculating the pressure loss per 100 feet of pipe and maximum velocity allowed in the piping. The user can select the pipe type:
  • Copper Type K
  • Copper Type L
  • Copper Type M
  • Pex
  • And also the Pipe Surface Roughness:
  • Smooth
  • Fairly Smooth
  • Fairly Rough
  • Rough
  • After the sizing has been calculated, the user can then print the calculation worksheet and export the results into AutoCAD (any version).
